Call for Papers for the 8th OSBConf is open!

The call for papers for the 8th Open Source Backup Conference has begun and all interested speakers are welcome to submit their presentations via our CFP-form until June 5th, 2016.

The English speaking conference will take place in Cologne from September 26th to 27th, 2016.

The length of your speech should be limited to about 40-45 minutes. Subsequently to each presentation a question and answer session is scheduled with the audience. We welcome technical abstracts with a real benefit for the participants:

  • Latest developments related to Bareos and Bacula
  • User experiences and case studies
  • Best practices and tools
  • Any other topics that you feel are relevant to developers, users and other members of the community

In return for the presentation every speaker is offered free conference participation in accordance to the package SILVER. This includes the following benefits:

  • attendance at all presentations and tutorials
  • refreshments during the morning and afternoon breaks
  • lunch on 2nd day including soft drinks
  • dinner event on the first conference day
  • WiFi access
